Simbu is currently busy shooting for Mani Ratnam's 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam' costarring Arvind Swamy, Arun Vijay, Aishwarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Jyothika and Vijay Sethupathi.  He was the chief guest in a reality show in a popular channel where he was quick to answer about his contemporaries.

Regarding his arch rival Dhanush, Simbu said that they both entered Kollywood as heroes at much about the same time and the 'Thulluvadho Ilamai' hero did not have a clue about stardom.  But Dhanush as he grew learnt the ropes of the industry and has now touched the peak as one of the best star actors around and Simbu has acknowledged that he has a lot to learn from him.  STR finished off about Dhanush by throwing the "Senjuduven" gesture from 'Maari' saying "Senjutarulla" to thunderous applause.

Another touchy question was about Nayanthara and Simbu recalled the photo shoot of 'Vallavan' after which there was huge controversy regarding the lip bite images of the duo.  Embarassed by it Simbu had apologized to Nayan about the bad press but she reassured him that she did the shot as it is her job and will also do the scene to support the director's vision.  STR attributed this professional attitude of Nayanthara that has made her the Lady Superstar she is now.
