'Maanadu' is a political sci-fi thriller starring Simbu in the lead role and directed by ace director Venkat Prabhu. Produced by Suresh Kamatchi's V House Productions, the makers just dropped the pre-release trailer of the film. It is gearing up for a grand theatrical release on November 25.

The trailer was leaked online from the audio launch before it debuted on Youtube. The plot of Maanadu revolves around a political meeting as the title suggests. It focuses on the lives of a youngster and a cop who are stuck in the time loop. While Simbu plays the youngster who is trying to stop the meeting, SJ Suryah is essaying the role of the police officer trying to prevent his mission.

The showdown between the hero and villain will be unique and strong in this movie. STR is all impressive throughout the trailer and promises a blockbuster comeback film for his fans. The 2-minute-long trailer looks exhilarating with Yuvan Shankar Raja's stylish background score. Kalyani Priyadarshan is pairing with Silambarasan in Maanadu.

Maanadu is carrying a lot of inception as it is the first political time loop movie in India. The film will be dubbed and released in multiple languages. Bharathiraja, SA Chandrasekhar, Premgi Amaran, Aravind Akash and Karunakaran are playing pivotal characters in this thriller.
