Police protection for Simbu anticipating BJP agitation

Police protection has been given to Simbu's house located at T.Nagar as it is anticipated that the BJP will conduct an agitation protesting against the actor's recent song "Demonitization Anthem".

Simbu had lent his voice to the "Demonitization Anthem" song that talks about the negative effects suffered last year and Madhan Karky's lyrics also take a dig at Vijay Mallya taking assylum in England and other such issues.  The song has been rendered for upcoming film 'Thattrom Thookrom' with music score by Balamurali Balu.  The BJP already irked by the GST dig in 'Mersal' is reportedly in a similar mood by this song as well.
