We all know that 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu' is the upcoming film which marks the reunion of the evergreen combo Simbu, Gautham Menon and AR Rahman. The trio has already worked together in Vinaithaandi Varuvaayaa (2010) and Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada (2016).

Produced by Vels Films International, Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu is all set to hit the screens worldwide on September 15. Now, the latest is that Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies has acquired the Tamil Nadu distribution rights for the film. It is worth mentioning that Red Giant Movies also distributed the trio's first movie 'Vinaithaandi Varuvaayaa'.

Today, Red Giant Movies took to their social media page to reveal the news with a special promo video featuring footage from both Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu and Vinaithaandi Varuvaayaa. The new clip bridges the 12 years gap between the movies in just a minute. This video is currently going viral on the internet.

'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu' is a rustic thriller penned by Jeyamohan with Siddhi Idnani playing the female lead. It also stars Radhika Sarathkumar and Neeraj Madhav in the main roles. Thamarai has written the lyrics while Siddhartha Nuni handles the camera and Anthony takes care of the editing.
