Silambarasan TR has become unstoppable in his career's new phase. After giving back-to-back profitable films (Maanadu & Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu), STR's next film Pathu Thala is gearing up for a grand release worldwide on March 30. The film's shooting is completed and the post production works are going on in full swing.

All the assets of the film, starting from the first look poster to the glimpse teaser, have become a huge success. Now, the latest is that the makers are planning to launch the first single of Pathu Thala on Simbu's birthday, which falls on February 3rd. AR Rahman has composed the songs and background score in this much-awaited movie. The first single is sung by ARR as well, reportedly.

Pathu Thala directed by Obeli N Krishna is the official remake of the Kannada blockbuster 'Mufti'. Simbu plays a powerful gangster named AGR in the movie. The film also boasts Gautham Karthik, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Teejay, Joe Malloori, Gautham Menon, Kalaiyarasan, Redin Kingsley and others in key roles. Studio Green and Pen Studios have bankrolled the project.
