Simbu and Gautham Karthik starrer 'Pathu Thala' is going to be one of the next big releases in Kollywood. The post-production works for the film are marching towards the finish line. Recently, the makers started the promotional works by launching the first single, 'Namma Satham'.

Composed and sung by Isai Puyal AR Rahman, the single song went on to be a huge chartbuster. Now, it is reported that the team is planning to release the rest of the soundtrack with a grand launch event on March 18. AR Rahman is expected to perform live at the ceremony. The venue and other details are currently kept under the wrap. We have to wait for an official announcement from the production house regarding the same.

Pathu Thala is directed by Obeli N Krishna and jointly produced by Studio Green and Pen Studios. The much-expected movie is the remake of Kannada blockbuster 'Mufti'. STR plays a gangster named AGR while Gautham Karthik portrays a cop. The film's star cast also comprises Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gautham Menon, Teejay, Joe Malloori, Kalaiyarasan, Redin Kingsley and others.
