Simbu’s comeback movie ‘Maanaadu’ directed by Venkat Prabhu has put him back in the reckoning as one of the most sought after heroes in Tamil cinema. According to latest reports emerging in Kollywood circles, Simbu and S.J. Suryah are likely to reunite for a new movie. It is said that Listin Stephen one of the leading producers in Malayalam is keen to remake in Tamil the super hit 2019 film ‘Driving Licence’.
Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjarammoodu starred in ‘Driving Licence’ and Listin Stephen is planning to cast Simbu and S.J. Suryah in the respective roles. The sources add that Vijay Chander who directed Simbu’s ‘Vaalu’ could helm this project. We have to wait for official confirmation on this devoloping news.
