Actor Simbu, who was last seen on screen in the Maniratnam mega multi-starrer Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, where he excelled playing a young gangster Ethi, is currently getting ready with his next, the family entertainer Vandha Rajavathaan Varuven directed by Sundar.C, and costarring Megha Akash, Ramya Krishnan, Prabhu, Nasser and Catherine Tresa.
Vandhaa Rajavathaa Varuven has been wrapped, and on eve of Pongal the actor has released a special video. In the video, Simbu has requested his fans to watch Vandha Rajavathaan Varuven in theaters by buying tickets at counter rates and not to purchase black tickets for higher prices.
Besides, the actor also insisted fans not to indulge in activities like erecting cutouts or flex banners or perform milk abhishekam and waste money on celebrating the release, and rather make use of the money to buy clothes to their parents and family, and share the photos of gifting. Actor Mahath, Simbu's close friend, took it to twitter to share the video and said that he'll be buying gifts for his parents as well. Meanwhile, Vandha Rajavathaan varuven is set to release on February 1.
