The standoff between the producers council and the digital sevice providers have culminated in a strike leading to no new movie releases. Producers, theatre owners and distributors gathered to discuss on this in Chennai yesterday and one important subject  talked about was the high remuneration for actors.

Simbu who attended the meeting also opined on the same. Stating that there were only 10 such big actors in the industry, he expressed his happiness being one of them.  Saying that no resolution could be made by reducing their salary, Simbu insisted that films should not be produced with black money.

Simbu also opined that details as to how much loan and interest the producer has taken to bankroll the film must be transparent to the actor of the film. His message was : Abolish black money,everything will fall in place.

Though Simbu’s statements have been appreciated by Vishal and others, some have expressed theri discontent.
