We were the first to break the news to you that Simbu is teaming up with Sundar C for his very next project after Mani Ratnam's 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam'. Read : RED HOT! Simbu and Sundar C join hands for new film - Super Exciting Details STR would also start shooting for Venkat Prabhu's 'Maanadu' simultaneously.

Lyca Productions has confirmed the new stating "We are very Happy to announce the exciting collaboration of Ace Director Sundar C & Mr Mass Simbu under our banner for a very exciting venture! Shoot commences soon. Gearing up for a January 2019 release. More updates coming up !!".

The new film is the official remake of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's blockbuster hit 'Attarintiki Daredi' and the heroine and the rest of the cast will be revealed in the coming days.
