Actor Simbu, after his disastrous Anbanavan Asarathavan Adangathavan had made a comeback with his last year blockbuster Maniratnam directorial Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, and this year was seen in the lackluster outing Vanthaa Rajavathaan Varuven directed by Sundar.C.

The actor has a promising lineup of movies including Maanadu directed by Venkat Prabhu, Mufti remake with Gautham karthik directed by debutant Narthan, Thotti Jaya 2 by VZ Dhurai and another movie with his Kovil director Hari and produced by AM Ratnam to name a few.

Now it has been speculated that the actor will next team up with none other than director Muthiah who has been known for his rural entertainers that face controversy being called as caste based flicks, and that this movie might be produced by Studio Green. It must be noted that Studio Green is producing Simbu movie with Narthan and also had produced Devarattam and Komban directed by Muthiah.
