Simbu's bad times are obviously far behind him and his career is not only looking bright but seems to be zooming ahead. He has currently finished the shooting of Mani Ratnam's multistarrer 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam' costarring Vijay Sethupathi, Arun Vijay, Arvind Swamy, Aishwarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Jyothika and Dayana Erappa. The official info from the STR camp is that soon he will complete the dubbing for this film and will also finish his composing and background score for the Oviya starrer '90ML'.

After taking a month's break Simbu would be back with a bang to star in his 34th film to be produced by Vijay Productions who bankrolled the Ajith starrer 'Veeram' and the Vijay starrer 'Bhairavaa'. The director and the rest of the cast are being finalised for this big budget flick.

Simbu will then go behind the camera to direct 'STR35' after which he would be joining hands with Gautham Vasudev Menon and Lyca Productions for 'Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya 2' which has the working title 'STR36'.

'STR37' will be produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu's V Creations with whom Simbu has done 'Thotti Jaya'. Simbu is well and truly back with a bang and we will be bringing you more information about all these exciting projects the moment we have them.
