Actor Simbu was last seen on screen in the Sundar C directed Vandha Rajavathaan Varuven, and had later signed the political entertainer Maanaadu directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by Suresh Kamatchi.
After numerous delays that extended over a year, Maanaadu began shooting before two months, and Simbu had also focused on his physique and lost considerable weight for his character in Maanaadu.
However, due to Coronavirus outbreak, the shooting which was happening in Hyderabad got affected, and stars were locked down in homes. Despite being in home, Simbu has been dedicatedly working on maintaining his physique and that is evident with a latest workout video which has him running around his house, and this video has turned viral.
