Massive 'Maanaadu' update for Simbu's birthday

Simbu's 37th birthday was celebrated in a grand manner on Monday with festivities beginning from midnight at his home in T. Nagar where fans gathered in large numbers. Ever since that many celebrity friends including Jai, Vaibav, Arun Vijay and others have been expressing their best wishes on social media.
Director Venkat Prabhu has revealed Simbu's character name in 'Maanaadu' as Abdul Khaaliq and released the poster for that which has fans screaming with joy. The shooting of the much delayed film is set to begin from February second week and is expected to release later this year.
'Maanaadu' produced by Suresh Kamachi with music score by Yuvan Shankar Raja has Kalyani Priyadarshan as Simbu's leading lady. Bharathiraja, S.A. Chandrasekar, Premgi Amaran and Karunakaran costar.
