The trailer of Simbu's most-awaited 'Maanadu' has been revealed today by the makers as we reported earlier. The fans were eager since the project announcement as it is the first collaboration of Venkat Prabhu and STR. The political thriller is produced by Suresh Kamatchi's V House Production.

It was worth all the wait and hype because the trailer managed to win the love of fans and look so promising. The video opens with a disclaimer that reads "the following is a preview of FIRST POLITICAL TIMELOOP movie". The trailer goes by the same, gives us a mind-blowing experience. The plot focuses on a time loop happening around a political meeting.

A time loop is when certain characters experience the same day again and again. The characters die at the end, which just restarts their loop. Maanadu story focuses on the assassin Silambarasan and a cop SJ Surya who are stuck in the loop. STR and SJS are set to steal the show with their performance. Yuvan Shankar Raja's background score and Praveen KL's cuts make the trailer more exhilarating.

Kalyani Priyadarshan plays the female lead opposite Simbu. On the whole, the trailer surely excites the fans to book tickets for Maanadu soon. It also stars SA Chandrasekar, YG Mahendran, Vagai Chandrashekhar, Premgi Amaren and Karunakaran. The film will hit the screens all over the world on Diwali day as a treat to the fans.
