Actor Simbu has started shooting for his 45th movie Maanaadu, a political entertainer directed by Venkat Prabhu. Produced by Suresh Kamatchi's V House Productions banner, the movie which had been getting delayed for a year, finally started shooting last week.

Maanaadu has a massive cast including Kalyani Priydarshan as the female lead, SJ Suryah, Bharathiraja, SA Chandrasekaran, Manoj Bharathiraja, YG Mahendran, Daniel Anne Pope, Premgi, Subbu Panchu, Aravind Akash and many others in important roles.

Besides acting in the movie, Premgi has also sung a song in the movie, and the actor had recently also posted a photo on social media announcing that he has sung a song in Yuvan Shankar Raja's music. The actor had last remixed Loosu Penne song in Simbu's Vallavan and he had last sung in Biriyani.
