Simbu's 'Maanaadu' after a long delay went on floors on February 19th in Chennai and completed work for two days. The team had planned for a two-month-long schedule at the Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad starting from today the 28th of March. A sudden change has ensued and the shooting spot has been changed to the VGP Golden Beach in Chennai.
It is said that Simbu preferred shooting in Chennai rather than Hyderabad and hence sets have been erected at short notice in Chennai for the same. Major portions of the entire movie will now be shot in the city itself.
'Maanaadu' is directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by Suresh Kamachi with Yuvan Shankar Raja scoring the music. The ensemble cast comprises of Simbu, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Bharathiraja, SAC, S.J.Suryah, Premgi Amaran, Aravind Akash, Daniel Anne Pope and Karunakaran.
