We broke the news to you that Simbu has resumed shooting of Maanaadu directed by Venkat Prabhu in Pondicherry where it is expected to go on for the next 45 days. Strong safety and precautionary measures to ensure corona prevention has been taken by employing the services of Siddha specialist Veerabahu who will monitor the health of all the crew members thought the schedule.

Now Simbu himself has posted a photo of himself gearing up to shoot 'Maanaadu' and though it is only a back shot it indicates that he is in a uber stylish clean-shaven look for the film. He has innovatively written Name: Abdul Khalique Place: Pondicherry and Mission: Maanaadu with a touch of military discipline.

'Maanadu' directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by Suresh Kamachi has music score by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Simbu, Bharathiraja, Kalyani Priyadarshan, SAC, Premgi and S.J. Suyah are the main leads.
