STR fans become emotional

To say that Simbu's fans are disappointed with the drop of Venkat Prabhu's political thriller Maanaadu, produced by Suresh Kamatchi, would be an understatement. Ever since the announcement was made, fans have taken to social media to express their dismay over the turn of events.

One of the fans, on behalf of several of them who have felt let down, opened up regarding the issue. In the video that has been going viral, the fan says he was shocked to hear the news in the morning and adds that several other fans who had been anticipating the movie would be just as disappointed.

The producer issued a statement earlier this morning announcing the drop of the movie as he could not see the film getting delayed due to various reasons. He also added that Maanaadu would be made, but with a different actor.
