Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and director Mani Ratnam are working together on the highly anticipated flick, ‘Thug Life’. The shooting, which began in January, is expected to resume after the parliament elections as the legendary actor is busy with the manifesto.

Meanwhile, Dulquer Salmaan and Jayam Ravi exited this film earlier citing date issues. We already broke to you that Simbu will be replacing Dulquer Salmaan’s role in ‘Thug Life’. It is reported that Atman completed his look test for this action saga recently. While he had sported a long-haired look for ‘STR 48’, he might change his look for ‘Thug Life’ now.

As for ‘STR 48’, Simbu will be back to this long-haired getup after wrapping up his portions in ‘Thug Life’. The filming for ‘STR 48’ will only begin after the completion of ‘Thug Life’. ‘STR 48’ is touted to be a period fantasy film with Silambarsan in dual roles. The film is directed by Desingh Periasamy and produced by Raaj Kamal Films International.
