Simbu’s hot update on his next release rocks the internet!

It is already known that Silambarasan TR is currently working on his third release of this year - 'Pathu Thala'. This film, directed by Obeli Krishna, is the remake of the Kannada superhit 'Mufti'. it also stars Gautham Karthik and Priya Bhavani Shankar in the lead roles with music by AR Rahman.
Simbu took to his social media pages today to share a hot update on the film's development. He posted a selfie photo and wrote, It’s a schedule wrap for #PathuThala (sic). A couple of BTS pictures from the sets also surfaced over the internet. This schedule was filmed near the Tungabhadra dam in Karnataka.
The cast and crew will take a break till Diwali now. A teaser or first single might be released by the makers on Diwali. As per the sources, only one schedule is left for the entire shooting wrap-up of 'Pathu Thala'. This film, bankrolled by KE Gnanavel Raja under the banner Studio Green, is scheduled to have a grand theatrical release on December 14.
