Simbu is Kollywood's Ranbir Kapoor: Gautham

Director Gautham Vasudev Menon has heaped rich laurels on STR, the protagonist of his next film 'Achcham Enbadhu Madamaiyada'.

In an interview, Gautham said Simbu is talented to do anything in cinema and he is the Ranbir Kapoor of South India. "But he doesn't know that, which is good in a way," Gautham added.

'Achcham Enbadhu Madamaiyada' is the filmmaker's second venture with the actor, with the first being 'Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaya'.

Spilling beans on the movie, Gautham said, "it will start off as a love story and will grow into an action filled one."
