Happy with the success of his latest release ‘Vaanam,’ the actor is busy signing on dotted lines and reading scripts. Sources close to the actor have revealed that STR will soon be off to Spain for shooting the last part of his upcoming project ‘Podaa Podi.’

While the name of the film suggests that the flick will be a rom-com, we can also expect some punch dialogues as well as foot-tapping numbers and some good dance moves which are typical ingredients with a Simbu stamp. Simbu will be sharing screen space with Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar, who will be opening her innings in Tamil with this film.

With Simbu wrapping up with ‘Podaa Podi’ he will soon join the ‘Osthi’ team under the captaincy of director Dharani for the remake of the Bollywood mega hit film ‘Dabangg’ titled ‘Osthi’ in Tamil.

The Hindi original recently bagged the National award for being the best entertainer of the year.

The photo shoot of ‘Osthi’ with Simbu attired in a police uniform looks quite cool with the right attitude of a cool cop. That is not it, the actor post his shooting for ‘Osthi’ will be working on his next project ‘Vettai Mannan.’ This project sees Simbu along with Jai and is expected to be a flick with a lot of style.

Sources also reveal that talks are on with directors Gautham Menon, Cheran as well as Mysskin to finalize his forthcoming projects.
