The 'Bigg Boss' reality show Tamil version has already completed four seasons and has been a big hit among television viewers. All the seasons so far have been hosted by Kamal Haasan and have been a great platform for him to air his political viewers to a larger audience.

We already broke the news to you that the initial phase of production work for 'Bigg Boss 5' has already begun with the plan for launching the show in June or July this year like the first three seasons. It is worth mentioning that due to the coronavirus pandemic 'Bigg Boss 4' had a delayed start in October and ended in January.

Host Kamal Haasan is going to face his first elections on April 6th for the Tamil Nadu Assembly and political analysts do not rule out the possibility of his Makkal Needhi Maiam party turning out to be a dark horse and make an unexpected impact. If Kamal manages to pull off a big victory or even garner a higher than expected vote percentage and seats he will have to give his undivided attention to politics.

Keeping this scenario in mind it is said that the producers of 'Bigg Boss 5' have already initiated talks with Simbu to replace Kamal and the sources add that he is also very much interested. Whether the host replacement will take place or not depends on various factors and we will have to wait and watch how this plays out.

Simbu meanwhile is currently shooting for his upcoming movies 'Maanaadu' directed by Venkat Prabhu and costarring Kalyani Priyadarshan and 'Pathu Thala' costarring Gautham Karthik and Priya Bhavani Shankar.
