Kollywood star Simbu feels that big stars have to reduce their remuneration. He appeared at the Tamil Film Producers' Council meeting on Wednesday and spoke of the issue of stars needing to reduce remuneration.
The actor, who is currently doing Mani Ratnam's 'Nawab', opined that the theaters should start computerizing all the ticketing so that there is transparency. Once accurate box office collections are reported, the actors can/should be rewarded suitably.
Meanwhile, Vishal, the voice of change in Kollywood, has ruled out any talks with Digital Service Providers. All negotiations will now be with the theatres. Kollywood is currently on a complete strike.
With these momentous developments happening in that industry, will the Telugu film industry be influenced positively to herald change?
