Simbu and Hansika first starred together in 'Vaalu' released in 2015 and the film became more a talking point due to their off-screen romance more than the film itself.  The duo were also supposed to pair up in the shelved project 'Vettai Mannan' but they broke off due to various reasons.  Now after several years Simbu has gracefully accepted to play an extended cameo in 'Maha' which has Hansika playing a powerful role with Srikanth as the other lead.

Pictures of Simbu and Hansika in intense romance in 'Maha' already made its way on the internet and the latest one too has them exhibiting great chemistry.  Simbu is playing a stylish airforce officer in the story and there is already great expectations for the film which is set to release soon after the coronavirus scare dies down.
