Harish Kalyan who made his acting debut opposite Amala Paul in the controversial 'Sindhu Samaveli' directed by Saamy thereafter struggled to gain a foothold in Kollywood even though he acted in good projects like 'Poriyaalan' and 'Vil Ambu'.  However all that changed after his stint as a participant in 'Bigg Boss' which has made him hugely popular among viewers.

In one of the tasks given by 'Bigg Boss' Harish Kalyan masqueraded as Simbu and some even felt that he trolled him.  But today Harish has met Simbu who not only congratulated the young actor but also presented him with a book "What Got You Here Wont Get You There" by Marshal Goldsmith.  The 'AAA' star has also written "Never forget where you started" signed with love Simbu.  Harish has thanked Simbu and his fans who supported him when he was inside 'Bigg Boss' house.
