This handsome hero turns Simbu's Villain?

Actor Simbu was last seen on screen in the family entertainer Vandha Rajavathaan varuven directed by Sundar C, and will be seen next in Venkat Prabhu directed long delayed political entertainer Maanadu.

Maanadu produced by Suresh Kamatchi's V House productions will have Kalyani Priyadarshan who made her debut recently in Siva Karthikeyan's Hero as the female lead and will also star director Bharathiraja.

While it was earlier said that Kannada hero Sudeep might play the villain in Maanadu, the latest speculation making the rounds is that actor Aravind Swami might be approached to play the villain. Arvind Swami and Simbu previously acted as brothers in Maniratnam's Chekka Chivantha Vaanam.
