Simbu shares a massive update on Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu with the fans!

Simbu, who is fresh out of his true comeback film Maanadu's success, has now resumed shooting for his upcoming rustic thriller 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu' directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon and produced by Vels Films International. The actor-director duo is reuniting after the 2016 film 'Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada'.

We had already updated you that the team has completed almost 80% of the shooting and Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu's teaser will be launched later this week. Now, the latest information is that Silambarasan had kickstarted shooting for the last leg of the VTK filming. This final schedule is being shot in Chennai & Mumbai, and it will last for more than 25 days.

The makers are planning to wrap up the entire shoot of Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu by early January. STR shared the hot update about the film's final schedule with the fans on his Twitter page. He also posted a picture with a pistol in his hand from the shooting spot and wrote, "The #Shoot begins! #VTK #VendhuThanindhathuKaadu."

Reportedly, Kannada actress Kayadu Lohar plays the leading lady while Malayalam actor Neeraj Madhav plays the baddie. Radhika Sarathkumar is essaying STR's mother role. Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu is most likely to hit the screens in early 2022. The Mozart of Madras AR Rahman is composing the music for VTK while Jeyamohan is penning the dialogues.
