The multi-faceted actor Silambarasan TR was bestowed with an honorary doctorate from Vels University on January 13th. Meanwhile, it is already a known fact that Simbu is currently working on his reunion movie with Gautham Menon that is titled 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu', bankrolled by Vels Films International.

Indiaglitz had earlier updated you that the final schedule of Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu will begin on January 3rd with the female lead Siddhi Idnani joining the rest of the cast in this leg. Now, the latest reports suggest that the VTK team has completed a part of the last schedule in Chennai before Pongal as their plan. They will move on to Mumbai for the last stint after taking a short break.

More than half portions of 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu' have been shot. The director is just left with the Mumbai schedule and some patchwork to complete the film. The Mumbai schedule will be planned appropriately as the corona infection numbers are high in the city, stated the report. The team recently celebrated Siddhi Idnani's birthday at the sets of the VTK.

STR will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar in this venture which stars Radhika Sarathkumar and Neeraj Madhav in crucial roles. Isai Puyal AR Rahman is scoring music for Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu with lyrics penned by Thamarai. Renowned author and screenplay writer Jeyamohan is taking care of the writing department.
