The fans have been on cloud nine ever since the evergreen combo reunited. The movie's hype skyrocketed following the stellar songs and trailer. Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu is all set for a grand release tomorrow worldwide. Vels Films International produced the film and Red Giant Movies is releasing it in Tamil Nadu.

As per the latest reports, Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu will have more than 200 early morning shows in Tamil Nadu. The movie will be released in more than 600 theatres worldwide. VTK marks the highest screen count in Simbu's career. The pre-business deals are done properly and the trade analysts are expecting a blockbuster opening. If everything goes well, this film might become the highest opening day record for STR.

Actress Siddhi Idnani is making her Tamil debut opposite Silambarasan in Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu. Radhika Sarathkumar, Neeraj Madhav, Siddique, Appukutty and others play the supporting roles. Siddhartha Nuni wields the lens while Anthony takes care of editing. VTK is the first installment of a planned duology.
