Simbu fans are elated as the actor is back with 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu' following the blockbuster 'Maanadu'. Produced by Vels Films International, Gautham Menon has directed Vendhu Thanindhathu starring Silambarasan TR and Siddhi Idnani with music by AR Rahman.

As per the latest reports, Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu's final filming works are now underway in Lucknow. STR is there to complete the patch works for some stunt sequence choreographed by Lee Whittaker. On the other hand, sources tell us that the post-production works including VFX and dubbing are almost over. Only these patch shots will be added.

We already broke to you that the film's audio launch is set to happen on September 2 at Vels University in Pallavaram, Chennai. As reported earlier, the Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu songs and trailer will be unveiled at the grand ceremony. Also, the movie will hit the screens on September 15, as per schedule.

Touted to be a rustic thriller, VTK has its script by Jeyamohan. The film’s technical crew consists of Siddhartha Nuni as the cinematographer, with editing by Anthony. Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu also stars Siddique, Neeraj Madhav, Radhika Sarathkumar, and Aangelina Abraham in key roles.
