Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and director Mani Ratnam are collaborating on the exciting gangster film 'Thug Life.' The movie has been shot in various locations including Chennai, Serbia, Rajasthan, and Delhi since January. Today, the team made an official announcement that Atman Simbu has joined the cast of the film.

The fans were treated with a first look at STR from 'Thug Life' through a poster and promo video. The 40-second clip shows Simbu firing bullets at his enemies in a car chase in the desert. AR Rahman's background score lits up the entire video. Simbu's first look is ruling the internet now. We hear that Simbu replaces Dulquer Salmaan's role in this biggie.

'Thug Life' is jointly written by Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan. The film stars Kamal Haasan, Simbu, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Gautham Karthik, Joju George, Abhirami, Nassar, Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Sanya Malhotra, Vaiyapuri and many others. The cinematography is handled by Ravi K. Chandran and editing is taken care of by Sreekar Prasad.
