You must admit it, Simbu’s gesture of the symbolic presenting of water by Karnataka people to Tamils won everybody’s heart. At a time when protests were rampant with tension, Simbu’s idea was as simple as it was practical, which drove home the message of love between the people of two states.

In a recent interview to a private channel, Simbu has stated that the reason as to why Karnataka government isn’t giving water was because whichever party does so will lose votes among the people. Further he also stated that if we are possible to change this notion and bring a situation such that they will win votes only by giving us water, then a  resolution was possible in the Cauvery issue. The actor also assured that he was working towards this specific goal only.

We will have to wait to know if Simbu’s efforts will bring fruition in this matter.
