"In spite of negativism, positivity was my forte but today's social media !!! Negativity is too dominating, and I'm scared to be a part," he said on Monday, before bidding adieu to the "negative" world of Twitter!

"Social media was necessary as a celebrity, but I prefer to follow my heart. So before I depart, just wanna say. Always choose love :)" he said as a parting shot.

Days before he deleted his Twitter page, Simbu was in the midst of a mischievous controversy. A photoshopped post of his was floated and it was widely publicized that he wanted to marry Oviya.
