An Innova car belonging to Simbu one of the top hereos of Tamil cinema was involved in an accident that resulted in one person lost his life today. It is said that on Monday night Simbu's father T. Rajendhar took his grandaughter to a hospital for treatment and traveled in the said car driven by his driver Selvam.

At Teynampet in Chennai the car hit a 70 year old passerby who was injured. According to reports, TR had called for the 108 Ambulance service and the man was shifted to a hospital. The actor had then phoned for another car from his household and had gotten back while the driver Selvam is said to have absconded from the place.

Today the unfortunate news has come that the 70 year old Munuswamy belonging to the same area who was under treatment succumbed to his injuries and passed away. The police have registered a case and have proceeded legal action.

The CCTV footage shows that Munuswamy was a disabled person and was crawling in the middle of the road and thats why Selvam could failed to see him in time to avert the accident.
