Fans are waiting for a long time for the release of 'Maanadu' starring Simbu, directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by Suresh Kamatchi.Kalyani, who made her Tamil cinema debut with Sivakarthikeyan's 'Hero', has teamed up with Simbu in this film. The film also stars SA Chandrasekhar, SJ Surya, Premji, YG Mahendran, Daniel Balaji,Premji and many more.
The first single 'Meherezylaa' from the film was well received by the fans. The song was sung by Yuvan Shankar Raja, and also bagged the music rights of the film. During the song release, the team went live on Twitter space and shared their experiences from the film.
Simbu said that a crucial scene in the film was taken in a single shot and thanked director Venkat Prabhu for filming the scene. He stated that during his younger age he found it difficult to act in emotional scenes as he needs to be slapped on thighs to bring out tears of his eyes. But now he has developed his acting ability and does it as a piece of cake. He also added that he couldn't stop his tears even after the scene is filmed.
The film was supposed to be released in May, due to the ongoing pandemic the release date was postponed and the team is now planning a theatrical release in the month of October. The film said to be sci - fic action thriller. We ll have to wait a little longer to watch this much anticipated flick.
