He is currently in Hyderabad shooting for his next directed by Sundar C in which he is romancing Catherine Tresa and Megha Akash.
Meanwhile a case of Simbu came up for hearing today which is in regards to an advance of rupees 50 lakhs that he received from Passion Movie Makers in 2013. Allegedly the company booked the 'CCV' star as hero for a movie titled 'Arasan' but he never allotted dates and after waiting for five years the producers went to court. Already in a previous hearing Simbu was given four weeks time to pay up or warned that his car and other properties would be confiscated but he never responded. Now the judges have given final time till October 31st to Simbu to return 85 lakhs (inclusive of interest) or face seizure of properties belonging to him.
