We already broke to you that Simbu, who took a break from all of his film works to take care of his ill father T Rajendar, will be returning to India soon and resume shooting for his upcoming film 'Pathu Thala'. Now, the latest is that the makers have unveiled the release date of the movie.

Studio Green took to their social media pages to officially announce that 'Pathu Thala' will release on December 14 with a new poster. Sharing the poster, they captioned, "The power-packed #SilambarasanTR & #GauthamKarthik Starrer #PathuThala Releasing worldwide In Theatres on December 14th, 2022."

'Pathu Thala' is the Tamil remake of the Kannada blockbuster 'Mufti'. Directed by Obeli N Krishna, Simbu plays a gangster while Gautham Karthik plays a cop. Priya Bhavani Shankar and Kalaiyarasan will be seen in pivotal roles. Isai Puyal AR Rahman is scoring music for the movie.
