It was a marvelous four hours long stretched memorable function of two silver jubilee event from the prestigious house of icon of Kannada cinema Dr.Rajkumar. The exchange of pleasantries, merry moments and down the memory lane was special on the occasion at Dr.Ambedkar Bhavan in Bangalore on Saturday morning.

The mega star of Telugu films Chiranjeevi touched the feet of his 'model' figure in life icon of Kannada cinema Dr.Rajkumar. It was the silver jubilee function of Vajreshwari combines and the silver jubilee of Puneeth Rajkumar and Ramya starring 'Akash'.

I am first fan of mega star Chiranjeevi said Dr.Rajkumar. For that Chiranjeevi replied that he has borrowed the nature and simplicity from father figure to him Dr.Rajkumar. Applaud for a few minutes did not stop. The RPL trust was announced occasion and the first cheque from this trust was handed over to cinema workers federation.

Dr.Rajkumar in a flash back mood narrated lot of incidents and how the Vajreshwari combines was evolved. My wife Parvathi has built this Vajreshwari to the best of her knowledge. For all this development in my life I am indebted to my father. I pray in my heart that the qualities of my father should come to my children. My wife Parvathi was in the cradle when my father decided that she will be my wife. After she stepped in to our house the growth has come. I have not studied in my life. I don't know English. I have never shown the differences among the elders and youngsters. What I have learnt is through watching and hearing. Yoga master Naik has been very helpful for me in life. The search of satisfaction is endless. I still have the wish to do films but my health is not permitting. I always tried to question my heart. From the experience we get to know the truth. Bangalore is the best place. It is because all languages are entertained and spoken here. I get the best warmth only when I get down at Bangalore Airport. When I met as a child the great personality Dr.Rajkumar at AVM studio he was in a King dress. He showed that affection and love to me that I cannot forget to this day. But on that day I decided that I should imbibe the simplicity and discipline only from Dr.Rajkumar . I do not have the simplicity, down to earth simple behavior of what Dr.Rajkumar has. His culture and upbringing is fantastic. The Vajreshwari combines has produced 68 lovely films and not even one is a remake. They have set the principles. It requires guts to stay strong for all these 25 years. This day is memorable for me. I will have a special album of this event in my home. I have met the great actress Jayanthi, Sarojadevi and Arathi at one place. I am extremely happy today.

With the remuneration what my husband used to get I have started Vajreshwari combines; this name was suggested by Krishnamurthy of Chennai. I cannot forget T.P.Venugopal , Chi.Udayashanker, Varadaraj, KCN, H.N.Muddukrishna, Dwarakanath, Dorai Bhagwan, my brothers Chinne gowda and Srinivas.

I am lucky to take birth in this family. For my first 100 days film Appu I got memento from Rajanikanthji and now for this film I am getting the memento from Chiranjeeviji. My mentor is my elder brother Shivrajkumar. In front of his achievements I am nothing.

He has bagged national award as a child actor for Bettada Hoovu. That is much earlier to my entry. When I look at his action scenes I announced to myself that I am your admirer.

But quality is suffering. The banner of Dr.Rajkumar should always touch the social issues with touch of reality instead of focusing only on entertainment. The three sons of Dr.Rajkumar growth in the industry are so good that any parents would feel proud. The grandchildren of Dr.Rajkumar sung the inaugural song Elladharu Iru Enthadaru Iru Endendhu Nee Kannadavagiru Kannadave Sathya., the famous poem of Rashtrakavi Kuvempu.

The four hours program was beautifully conducted by Chitrashree and Raghu. Arunsagar has prepared a wonderful set on the dais that depicted the three generations of Dr.Rajkumar family.
