Silent Radio` is the latest movie from Kalavoor Ravikumar, who had earlier directed Oridathoru Puzhayundu` and Father`s Day`. The movie will have Asif Ali and Priyamani playing the lead roles...

Kalavoor Ravikumar, a well-known writer and a journalist, has written the script for many popular movies too, including Ishtam, Nammal, Choonda, Swa Le, Goal etc.

'Silent Radio' tells the story of a radio mechanic and his love for a lady who is elder to him. As the title aptly suggests, the radio mechanic is of a silent and reserved type. While Asif Ali plays the radio mechanic, Priyamani would be playing his love interest. She would be appearing as a medical transcriptionist in the movie. The film was launched with a Pooja` ceremony that took place in Kochi last December. Shoot for the film will commence in April. Kochi and Rameshwaram would be the prime locations.

'Silent Radio' would be produced by Mohanan Gopalakrishnan under the banner of Star Communications.
