Among the many illnesses, cancer is one of those deadly diseases and in different parts of the world 22 September, is observed annually as World Rose day. It is a day specially dedicated to Cancer patients who are currently fighting it out against the disease.
Many celebrities have contributes to cancer awareness programs and today actor Silambarasan who is waiting for the lease of his upcoming film 'Maanaadu' participated in the in the World Rose Day celebrations held at a private hospital in Thenampettai, Chennai and gave hope and awareness to cancer patients.
Many children who are putting out a brave battle towards this deadly disease joined the celebration along with Silambarasan. Simbu gave candies to these children and also danced with them. His kind gesture towards these tender hearts is grabbing attention on the internet.
On the professional front, Silambarasan is currently shooting for his upcoming film 'Vendhu Thaninthathu Kaadu' directed by Gautham Menon. He also released a fan anthem for CSK from his next film Corona Kumar recently and the song is now ruling the playlists.
