Amid reports that he has fled away to a secret location to escape being arrested under non-bailable charges based on complaints lodged with police stations across various cities in Tamil Nadu, the multi-talented film star Silambarasan whose controversial 'beep song' has been facing severe flak from intellectuals and women rights activists has made an announcement in his Twitter feed.

In his first reaction for the outrage over the 'beep song', Simbu defended his side stating that it was his private composition not meant for public release and said no one had the right to infringe on his privacy. He also stated that the song was leaked by someone who is jealous about his growth.
This has actually enraged the people who are up in arms against the song instead of cooling them. Members of a prominent Students organisation and a women rights organisation gathered in front of Simbu's residence at T.Nagar Chennai and raised slogans against the actor. This protest was carried out on Monday and Tuesday.
Coimbatore Race Course Police have summoned Simbu and Anirudh, alleged to have composed music to appear on or before 18th of December based on a case filed against them by a prominent women rights organisation. The two celebrities have been reportedly booked under non-bailable charges.
Meanwhile, Anirudh has denied playing any part in the controversial song. He went to Toronto for a concert last week and he is yet to return to Chennai.
