Finally it is official...! Actor Silambarasan's long delayed long expected film 'Idhu Namma Aalu' will be hitting the screens on May 27, 2016. This means the long wait of fans is going to end within a few days from now.

The official posters of the film released this evening has mentioned the release date as May 27 and also carries the theater listing in Chennai. This can be taken as a sure shot confirmation on the film's release. When it was being said that the film will release on May 20 the posters just had the words 'Coming Soon' and did not carry the date.

The film touted to be a breezy romance flick has been directed by Pandiraj. Nayanthara has acted as the female lead and her pairing up with Simbu after a long gap of eight years gathered instant attraction for the film as soon as the lead cast was confirmed. The film also has another hot heroine in the form of Andrea and going by the trailers, the 'Aayirathil Oruvan' actress seems to have played an important role equal to Nayan. Soori has teamed up for the first time with Simbu as his comedy sidekick and his dialogues in the trailers are already a hit.

Kuralarasan, the younger brother of Silambarasan has made his debut as a music director with this film which has been produced by T.Rajendhar. Sri Thenandal Films have acquired the theatrical distribution rights a few months ago.
