Actor Silambarasan's 'Idhu Namma Aalu' directed by Pandiraj has seen several release date announcement in the past but still the film has not released. Recently the film acquired a clean U Certificate from the Censor Board officials. Since then in it is being widely speculated that the film will hit the screens on May 6 later it was said that the film will release on May 20.

However an official word about the release date is still elusive. Casting some light at the end of the long tunnel, the film's director Pandiraj has finally made an announcement about the release of his film in his social media page.

The 'Pasanga' fame director has Tweeted that an official announcement on the theatrical release of 'Idhu Namma Aalu' can be expected this week. He has also confirmed that the film will be a laugh riot and guarantees a 100 laughter moments through out the film.

'Idhu Namma Aalu' stars Silambarasan, Nayanthara and Andrea in lead roles while Soori has played the lead comedian. Simbu's brother Kuralarasan has scored the music and the song that has been released last month are gradually topping the charts. The film has been produced by T.Rajendhar and the release rights have been acquired by Sri Thenandal Films banner.
