Actor Prashanth is acting in Sahasam` after a long break and this is expected to be a relaunch of this actor who has been a leading hero in the previous decades. The film is being produced by Prashanth`s father and actor Thiyagarajan who has determined to leave no stone unturned to make this film the best and grand relaunch vehicle for his son.
One of the biggest highlights of this film seems to be the music album composed by Thaman and the lavish picturisation of the six songs. Leading young stars Silambarsan and Lakshmi Menon and heartthrob music director Anirudh Ravichander have sung a song apiece. Nationally recognized singers like Mohit Chauhan, Shreya Goshal, Shankar Mahadevan and Vijay Prakash have also crooned for the album. Songs have been penned by Madhan Karky, Yugabharathi, Na.Muthukumar and Kabilan while Raju Sundaram. Baba Basker, Gayathri Raghuram and Chandy have choreographed the dance movements.
The songs have been shot in Malaysia and Japan. The Sayangu` song featuring Prashanth has been shot with more than 100 dance artists and this is expected to be the pick of the album. The song has been shot in new locations of Malaysia for 10 days. Prashanth released this song as a single track in a grand function held in Malaysia.
Another song that will have Prashanth and Bollywood sensation Narkis Fakhri shaking legs together has been shot in a grand set erected in Chennai.

Australian based Amanda is making her debut as the lead heroine in this film.directed by Arun Raj Varma. The supporting cast includes veterans like Nasser, Thambi Ramiah, Sonu Sood, M.S.Bhaskar, John Vijay, Robo Shankar, Nalini, Chinini Jayanth and many others. Thiyagarajan has also penned the script and dialogues for this film, which is expected to hit the screens soon.
