Guess where Silambarasan is heading to after completing shoot for the film, ‘Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya’? The actor, who is currently working on Gautham Vasudev Menon’s film, will wrap up shooting for the movie in a couple of days and will soon head to Rome to see the Champions League Finals.

Speaking to the media from Malta, the actor said he cannot wait to be part of an event of such international importance. “It has always been a dream for me, as a football fan. So I will be in Rome on 27 to witness his fave team, Manchester United, battle it out with Barca in the finals,” he says.

Following this, the actor is all set to direct his own project, 'Vaaliban', in which he will play hero as well. Despite reports that the actor would work on 'Podaa Podi' next, it is now confirmed that he will take up his own film, ‘Vaaliban’. “But reports about Anushka being the hero for the film is untrue. I had never approached her,” says the actor, adding that he will begin work for that film in November.
