Yes, Maanadu is all set to be released on Diwali and fans can't hold their excitement over this happy news shared by him. Making it official Silambarasan shared a picture on his official Twitter account and wrote " #Maanaadu Deepavali."

Producer Suresh Kamatchi also shared the happy news and wrote "We are releasing the #Maanaadu film on Diwali with complete joy. The film will meet your expectations. Thanks to everyone who has endured this film with their grandson for so many days. We come with your support. We will win. # Maanaadu."

Maanaadu is a political action thriller film written and directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by Suresh Kamatchi, starring Silambarasan and Kalyani Priyadarshan, with S. J. Suryah as the antagonist. The film also stars Bharathiraja, S. A. Chandrasekhar, Karunakaran and Premgi Amaren in supporting roles.
