Simbu's clarification on his films release in Karnataka

  • IndiaGlitz, [Saturday,September 10 2016]

Social media is abuzz with actor Silambarasan's alleged statement that henceforth his films will not be released in Karnataka as a reaction to the ongoing protests in the neighbouring state against the release of Cauvery water for Tamil Nadu.

However the statement wrongly attributed to the multi-talented actor seems to be anything but true. A timely clarification from Simbu's side states that the 'Manmathan' actor is presently stationed in Bangkok for the shooting of the 'Thalli Pogathey' song in his upcoming release 'Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada' and he has not issued any statement on any topic.

This seems to be a clear handiwork of a rumourmonger to cause unnecessary trouble to Silambaran. Users are requested to double check the correctness of any information they receive from social media like Twitter, Facebook and Whats App as they have become breeding grounds of false news.
