'KIK' & 'AYM'- Tamil Nadu Box Office collections and verdict

Earlier today we had revealed to you the Chennai Box Office performance of G.V.Prakash Kumar's 'Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru' in its opening weekend and Silambarasan's 'Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada' in its second weekend.
Now we bring you the collections made by these two films in Tamil Nadu in the weekend that has just passed.
'KIK" directed by comedy special M.Rajesh has collected Rs.6.5 crores in its first three days of release from all over Tamil Nadu. In Chennai it has collected above Rs.80 lakhs and in Chengalpet the film has collected Rs.1.5 crores.
This is the second best opening weekend collection made by a G.V.Prakash starrer after 'Trisha Illana Nayanthara'.Trade sources reveal that despite mixed reviews the film has ran full house in almost all centres it was screened and looks like it will easily get into the safe zone for the stakeholders.
Director Gautham Menon's 'Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada' has collected abvove Rs.4 crores from Chennai BO in its 10 days after release (November 11-20). Now the TN Box office collection figures for the same period is an indication of the film performing well in B and C centers as well.
The Silambarasan-Manjima Mohan starrer has collected Rs.23 crores from theatricals across the state. In Chengalpet the film has collected around Rs.6.5 crores while in Coimbatore the collections stand at Rs.4.5 crores.
According to trade sources the film with A.R.Rahman's music score has done exceptionally well in its second weekend also.
With this Trade feels that the film has entered the 'break-even' zone and it is a profitable venture for the producers since they have released it on their own.
The 'VTV' combo of Gautham-STR-ARR combo has delivered another hit film.
